William V. Hale, Pastor

 William V. Hale became the fifth pastor of Knox Church, on March 15, 1990. Bill was born outside Philadelphia and then spent childhood and teenage years in Orchard Park, NY, where his family moved in 1963. Bill then went on to graduate from Gettysburg College in 1976, with a BA in history. Acting on a sense of call to the ministry, Bill entered Louisville Presbyterian Seminary in 1978 and graduated with a Master of Divinity degree in 1981. Following ordination, Bill served as pastor of the Lexington, Indiana Presbyterian Church and then the Bellevue Presbyterian Church, in Pittsburgh, before coming to Knox.Bill’s wife, Babette, is a registered nurse and they are the parents of three sons: Jared, Stephen, and Matthew.

Bob Fuqua, Music Director

 Bob Fuqua has been the Music Director at Knox Presbyterian since January, 1997. He has been involved in church work of various denominations for the past 24 years. He holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Music Education and has been a Virginia public school teacher for 28 years, 20 of those in choral music. Also, he is the principal at Chesterbrook Elementary School in Fairfax County. Bob lives in Fairfax with his wife Charlotte, and two daughters, Claire and Caryn.
